Keeping It Wild!
- Follow the directions for Keeping It Wild in this month's magazine. To help you with animal lists for where you live, try our Learn About Texas kids' pages.
- Go on a treasure hunt! First, make a list of adjectives (describing words) like "fuzzy, smelly, colorful, fast, slimy." Then go outside and explore! What can you find that matches your adjectives? Take something to write or draw on to record what you find. Don't forget to look for plants and bugs, look high and low, under and over!
- Try the Animal Olympics. How do these amazing abilities help that animal to survive? Research some of your favorite animals and make up new Animal Olympics for you friends and family to try!
