The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.
Entrance Fees

Facility Fees
- Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
- Pets are not allowed in any Texas State Park buildings. For other general pet restrictions check the Texas State Park Regulations. For park specific pet restrictions contact the park.

Camping
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
40 - Back Pack Campsites (North Prong area and South Prong area).
Both areas have organic restrooms and 16.3 miles of associated trails.
$8 per 4 people
Primitive Camping is available along the length of the Trailway.

40 - Walk-in Developed (tent) Campsites in the South Prong
and Little Red Camping Areas.
$12 per campsite
12 - Equestrian Developed Campsites (non-equestrian camping
is allowed). Sites have corrals, tables, grills, water for horses, and parking
at individual sites. Combination of persons or horses not to exceed 8 per
campsite.

9 - Campsites with Water in the Lake Theo area. Sites have
a shade shelter, picnic table, fire ring and lantern post. Water is in the
area.

25 - Campsites with Water and Electric (30 amp) in the Honey Flat
Area. Sites have a shade shelter, picnic table, fire ring, lantern
post, water, & 30 amp electrical outlet.

10 - Campsites with Water and Electric (50 amp) in the Honey Flat
Area. Sites have a shade shelter, picnic table, fire ring, lantern
post, water, & 50 amp electrical outlet.

Day Use Facilities
1 - Group Picnic Pavilion with a 50 person capacity (G.P.P.1).
Facility is for day use only and has picnic tables, and electricity. Restroom
facilities and a playground are nearby.
$35 per day (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
1 - Group Picnic Pavilion with a 100 person capacity in the equestrian
area (G.P.P.2)
$30 per day (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
1 - Amphitheater with a 40 person capacity. Contact the park for more information.

Notes
- When visiting Caprock Canyons State Park, be sure to check out the recently completed audio driving guide to the park. It's like having a tour guide on your own schedule and it's free! The audio guide is available for check-out, at the park headquarters, on tape or CD ($5 deposit).
- Mountain bike rentals are available.
- No person may enter a state park with an equine or equines, or cause the entry of an equine or equines to a state park, unless that person has in their immediate possession, for each equine in the person's custody or equine that the person allowed to enter the state park, a completed VS Form 10-11 (Texas Animal Health Commission) showing that the equine has tested negative to an official Equine Infectious Anemia test within the previous 12 months. The documentation required by this subsection shall be made available for inspection upon the request of any department employee acting within the scope of official duties.
