Cooper Lake State Park (South Sulphur Unit) - Fees
Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates. The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.

Facility Fees:

Camping:
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
15 - Walk-in (100 yards) campsites. Sites are in the Oak
Grove Camping Area and have a picnic table, fire ring, and a lantern post.
Water is located in the area. There is one water spigot for every 4 campsites.
These sites are for tent camping only. No Motor homes, Trailers, or Pop-ups
allowed:

87 - Campsites with electric & water hook-ups. These
sites are located in Bright Star and Deer Haven loops. Sites have a picnic
table, fire ring, and a lantern post. Some sites are back-in, some are pull-through.
6 of these are ADA compliant:

$12 per night (from Nov-Feb)
15 - Equestrian campsites with electric & water hook-ups. This
area is reservable for equestrian users only. Sites have a picnic table, fire
ring, and a lantern post. No stables, sites are 10' x 55' back-in with a tether
pole for horses.

5 - Overflow equestrian campsites. There is no paved surface
or tethering area. There is no water, electric, table or grill provided. More
information on equestrian use at this park.

Overflow Camping Area:
$8 per night
17 - Screened Shelters. Shelters are latchable from the
inside and have a picnic table, 10 amp electric outlet, water, fire ring,
and a lantern post. No Motor homes, Trailers, or Pop-ups allowed in the Shelter
area. Tents are allowed outside the shelter. 1 of these sites is ADA compliant:

4 - Limited Use Cabins. These shelters have 2 sets of bunk
beds (1 set with twin beds and 1 set with 1 twin and 1 full.) this shelter
also has a microwave, refrigerator, A/C, heat, and a lock on the door. Outside
there is a picnic table, fire ring, water spigot, and a lantern hook. 8 people
total allowed, maximum of 5 inside and 3 outside with tents. Customer must
furnish all bed linens:

14 - Cabins (4-6 person). Cabins have a kitchen w/ stovetop,
microwave, refrigerator, Dining and Living area w/couch and table, A/C, heat,
coffee pot, and ceiling fans. Has 1 bedroom w/ 2 double beds and bathroom
w/ tub and shower. Outside there is a deck w/ BBQ grill and picnic table.
No Motor homes, Trailers, or Pop-ups, allowed in the cabin area. No smoking
inside the cabins. Customer must provide eating and cooking utensils. Check-in
is 3pm, Check-out is 11am, 6 of these sites are ADA compliant:
$85 for up to 4 people; $95 for 5 people; $105 for 6 people
$75 for up to 4 people; $85 for 5 people; $95 for 6 people per night (from
Nov-Feb)
Day Use Facilities:
1 - Group Picnic Pavilion (Capacity 75). Facility has a
BBQ grill, electric outlets, lights, and water.

Notes:
- Gate is open from 6am to 10pm.
- Fees for the Doctors Creek Unit.
- No person may enter a state park with an equine or equines, or cause the entry of an equine or equines to a state park, unless that person has in their immediate possession, for each equine in the person's custody or equine that the person allowed to enter the state park, a completed VS Form 10-11 (Texas Animal Health Commission) showing that the equine has tested negative to an official Equine Infectious Anemia test within the previous 12 months. The documentation required by this subsection shall be made available for inspection upon the request of any department employee acting within the scope of official duties.
