Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway - Fees
Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates. The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.
Entrance Fees

- $3 per day, per person 13 and older, at the Nails Creek Unit.

Facility Fees
- Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
- Pets are not allowed in any Texas State Park buildings. For other general pet restrictions check the Texas State Park Regulations. For park specific pet restrictions contact the park.

Campsites
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
20 - Hike-in (3.5 miles – 10 miles one way) primitive campsites
on the Trailway. No potable water available. No open fires allowed,
containerized fuel only. First sites are 3.5 miles from the parking area and
can be accessed by foot, bike, or horse.

14 - Group Trailer Area (pavement) campsites with electric and water
(Birch Creek Unit). The Group Dining Hall is in this camp loop. These
non-reservable campsites are only available to customers that rent the Group
Dining Hall.

1 - Group Dining Hall (capacity 50) in the Group Trailer Area (Bich
Creek Unit). 14 Campsites with electric and water are next to the
dining hall and are only useable to customers that rent this facility. Campsites
are $16 each in addition to the Group Dining Hall fee.

3 - Group Picnic Pavilions (capacity 75 each) in the South Shore
Unit.
$35 each
1 - Enclosed Group Picnic Pavilion (capacity 75) in the Nails Creek
Unit. This pavilion is enclosed for all weather use and is located
close to the Boat Ramp and restrooms of the Nails Creek Unit. Facility has
a fireplace, ceiling fans, BBQ grill, water, electric, light, heat, air conditioning,
tables & chairs.

1 - Group Picnic Pavilion (capacity 75 each) in the Nails Creek Unit.
This is an open air pavilion located nearest to the equestrian area in the
Nails Creek Unit. Site has picnic tables, and a BBQ grill.

Interpretive Tour Fee -$2 per person 13 years or older; $1 per child 6 -
12 years of age.

- No person may enter a state park with an equine or equines, or cause the entry of an equine or equines to a state park, unless that person has in their immediate possession, for each equine in the person's custody or equine that the person allowed to enter the state park, a completed VS Form 10-11 (Texas Animal Health Commission) showing that the equine has tested negative to an official Equine Infectious Anemia test within the previous 12 months. The documentation required by this subsection shall be made available for inspection upon the request of any department employee acting within the scope of official duties.
