Lake Whitney State Park - Fees
Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates. The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.

Facility Fees:
- Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
- Pets are not allowed in any Texas State Park buildings. For other general pet restrictions check the Texas State Park Regulations. For park specific pet restrictions contact the park.

Camping:
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
Primitive Campsites: Park contains 50 X 2000 linear foot paved landing-strip
and a 50 X 3200 linear foot taxi way. Primitive sites
are for sleeping under airplanes flown in, overnight at boat ramp, or overnight
fishing. Obtainable only through the park.

31 - Campsites with 50 amp electric & water hookups:
$20 per night
$70 per week (November through February)
43 - Campsites with sewer, 50 amp electric, & water hookups:

21 - Screened Shelters:

$105 per week (November through February)
Sponsored Youth Group Area (capacity 24) - Area has three fire rings and 3 picnic tables; no drinking water or restrooms near. Not restricted to non-profit youth groups; any adult-supervised group may use it:
$30 per night
Group Camp with Group Dining Hall (capacity 64) - Facility
has a kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and ceiling fans. Facility
is enclosed with windows, No A/C or heat, and comes with 8 12x18 screened
shelters to sleep in. Each shelter has a picnic table inside. Large fire ring
outside and restroom with showers are .5-.75 miles away. Rented as unit only;
under special circumstances, the Group Camp Dining Hall may be rented for
Day Use when determined by Park Manager:
$250 per night
Group Recreation Hall with Kitchen - Day use capacity is
64 people. Overnight use capacity is 30 people. Has A/C, heat, ceiling fans,
screened windows, and restrooms .There is not an outdoor electric hook-ups.
Tents are allowed. Must rent for 2 consecutive days for overnight use:
$125 per day
- Excess Vehicle Parking (number restricted at some parks.): $4
- Activity Use Fee Per Person (day or overnight): $2
- Interpretive Tour Fee: $2 per person 13 years or older; $1 per child 6 - 12 years of age
Notes:
- Gates open at 8 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Campers arriving at the park after 10 p.m. may park in the small parking area in front of the office until the gates open in the morning.
