Mustang Island State Park - Fees

Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates. The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.

Camping:

Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.

300 - Primitive drive-up campsites - These non-reservable sites are on 1.5 mile beach. Ground fires are allowed. Drinking water is located along the beach. Restrooms are 50 yards - 1.5 miles away from sites and have cold water rinse-offs (showers). A beach bathhouse with full restrooms is near headquarters. Swim at your own risk in the Gulf of Mexico, no lifeguards. Sites are closed from time to time due to high tides. It's suggested that you call the park prior to arriving to check on beach conditions:

48 - Campsites with electric and water hook ups - Sites are separated from the ocean by sand dunes. Not actually on the beach, but about 50-75 yards from the water. 50 amp electric service:
$17 per night
