Palo Duro Canyon State Park - Fees
Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates. The daily entrance fee is charged in addition to any facility fees, unless otherwise stated. A Texas State Park Pass will allow you and your guests to enjoy unlimited visits for 1-year to more than 90 State Parks, without paying the daily entrance fee, in addition to other benefits.
Entrance Fees:

Facility Fees:

Camping:
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
Primitive Campsites in the back pack area:
$12 per 4 people, per night
25 - Primitive Drive-up Campsites (tent camping only):
$12 per night
32 - Premium Campsites with (30 amp) electric & water hookups:
$24 per night.
47 - Campsites with (50 amp) electric & water hookups:
$24 per night..
Equestrian Campsites:
Horses cannot be left unattended. Maximum number of people and horses combined is 8 per site.You are not permitted to ride your horses to the restroom area. Obtain an Equestrian brochure from Park Headquarters at check-in. All horses must have a negative Coggins test less than 12 months old. Customers can park at the sites. Restrooms with showers are 1/3 mile away. More information on equestrian use at this park.

Cabins
Note: $50 credit card deposit is due upon check-in. After inspection, if cabin is intact, the deposit is mailed back to customer within 3 days. Excess Occupancy Fee (when approved by the Park Manager) is $10 per person.
1 - 4 Person Cabins (Known as the Lighthouse Cabin. Located on the Canyon rim.):

1 - 4 Person Cabins (Known as the Goodnight Cabin. Located on the Canyon rim.):
$70 per night
1 - Premium 4 Person Cabins (Known as the Sorenson Cabin.
Located on the Canyon rim.):
$75 per night
4 - Limited Service Cabins (Located in the Cow-Camp loop):
$60 per night

April - May: Sunday -Thursday, 8 am - 8 pm; Friday -Saturday, 8 am -10pm
June - August: Daily, 8 am - 10 pm
September: Sunday - Thursday, 8 am - 8 pm; Friday -Saturday, 8 am - 10pm
The park does not provide campers the after-hours entry code unless they have already arrived & are fully registered in the system. If arriving after the gate closes, campers will stay in our late arrival camping area just outside the gate until the following morning.
