05/04/2012 - Notice of Pool Irritating Skin

05/04/2012- San  Solomon Spring is once again open for swimming at your own risk.

Some swimmers have experienced skin irritation, in the form of itching and welts, after swimming in San Solomon Springs. You too could experience such irritation. TPWD has submitted several water and biological samples for independent laboratory analysis. Nothing of concern has been found in any of the samples, and the spring water has been determined to be very clean.  The cause of the skin irritation remains unknown.
