Papalotito Colorado
The Papalotito Colorado Campsite has some of the most amazing views Big Bend Ranch State Park has to offer. Drinking your morning coffee to the scene of the daunting La Mota Mountain to the northeast, and the ever expansive countryside as a backdrop of its majesty is truly an experience to be cherished. Then as if that’s not spectacular enough, picture eating dinner and watching the shadows of the sun set over the Bofecillos Vents, the remnants of an enormous volcano that was integral in shaping this region.
Be it sunrises or sunsets, the distant sound of cattle, or the rustic windmill for which the site is named, Papalotito Colorado is certainly a campsite worth visiting. Up to eight persons and three vehicle limit.
