Yedra
If seclusion in an intimate, protected setting is desired, try either Yedra #1, or Yedra #2. At the end of the 4WD road is a parking area at a spring at Yedra Canyon. It is secluded; the only sounds heard will be your own voices, the whisper of the wind and the rustle of local wildlife.

Yedra #1- Road traverses a creek bottom with heavy, close overgrowth. The slow drive will yield an intimate, secluded campsite nestled in some large boulders. The firering and table are protected on the East and West. The large peak to west is Cueva Larga. The vista to the North is open for miles. Secluded but safe and comfortable for family members.
Access - 4Wheel Drive High Clearance.

Yedra #2 - The 4WD road very rough and steep in places. Drive slowly and use care. Site is open to south and west but table and fire ring are sheltered by boulders from the prevailing southerly winds. This site is only a short hike to the spring marked by a stand of cottonwoods. Look for wildlife tracks around the creek and the spring. The sunrises and sunsets are unforgettable.
