shoreline; it’s a one-mile, one-hour trek covering some rough terrain and steep
inclines. Learn how to locate and identify fossils on famed Lake Texoma,
as well as&nbsp;state laws and regulations protecting such valuable resources.
Hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, bring water and a hiking stick. &nbsp;&nbsp;Meet at Eisenhower Interpretive Trailhead.</p>

    <content:encoded xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"><![CDATA[<p>Come hike a new section of trail at Eisenhower State Park at 8:30 am with the Park Superintendent.&nbsp; He will lead a three mile hike into what will soon become a section of the park&rsquo;s Chinquapin Ridge ATV Trail.&nbsp; These trails are in their initial stage of development so you&rsquo;ll be the first to see this unique area.&nbsp; The hike is open to all who can handle strenuous hiking with steep elevation.&nbsp; After the hike, there will be an opportunity to bike the park trails at 10:30 am with a volunteer who can show you all sections of the four mile hike &amp; bike trail.&nbsp; The bike ride is open to serious off road bike riders who can handle a strenuous bike ride.&nbsp; Bring water, appropriate clothing, and hiking and biking gear; but no pets or small children.&nbsp; No reservations are needed and no fees apply other than the standard park entrance fees. Both the hike and bike ride will begin from the Elm Point Day Use Area.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>Part of the Go Fish! Learn-to-Fish Event Program</p>
<p>Adults and youth, ages 13+, can learn the basics of fly-fishing through fun, hands-on activities. All equipment provided or bring your own. &nbsp;Hot dog lunch provided.&nbsp; After lunch the class participants will have an opportunity to go as a group to a designated site in the park and try their hand at catching a fish on a fly rod. No license necessary while fishing in the park.</p>
<p>Adults must accompany children. &nbsp;Bring sun protection and water. &nbsp;Registration start time is 9:00 A.M., Closing and awards ceremony at 3 P.M.</p>
<p>In addition to the fly fishing activities the park will have a tank stocked with 500 catfish for any and all participants to fish in.</p>

<ul><li>$65 per family (up to 6 individuals) - includes all entry and camping fees. </li><li>You will be asked to bring your family's food for the two-day event and a suggested list of items is provided below in the "TOFPRE-materials."</li></ul>

<ul><li>Call 512-389-8903 and ask to speak to one of our <strong>"Texas Outdoor Family"</strong> customer service representatives Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. They can answer any questions you might have and also can provide the contact number for partner site workshops. </li><li>You will be e-mailed a confirmation packet with directions and additional items. </li><li>Please note that all reservations and full payment must be made at least four business days in advance of the workshops. All fees are non-refundable.</li></ul>
