The Park will be closed to the public on the following dates in order to conduct wildlife management activities. Only drawn permitted hunters will be allowed in the park during these dates.

Monday, December 3, at 5 p.m., until 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 6.
Sunday, January 6, 2013, at 5 p.m., until 2 p.m. on Friday, January 11.

Directions:

The park is 18 miles north of Fredericksburg on Ranch Road 965, or from Llano, take State Highway 16 for 14 miles south and then go west on Ranch Road 965.

Peak seasons is September through May.

Maximum Capacity

The park may reach capacity requiring temporary closings on weekends, sometimes as early as 11 a.m. The park reopens when sufficient parking is available.

We suggest you make alternate plans should you arrive at the park and find it closed.
