Events http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us daily 1 2009-07-27T23:18:03Z 20th Annual Kid Fish Derby http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/calendar/20th-annual-kid-fish-derby Lake Corpus Christi State Park will be holding their 20th Annual Kid Fish Derby on January 28, 2012.  This event is free for children ages 5-12 with hourly fishing sessions starting at 9 am.  This event provides an opportunity for children to fish in a controlled setting that will almost guarantee success.  Each child is provided with bait, tackle, a fishing rod and reel which are theirs to keep after the event.  Food and drinks will also be provided for participants, entrance fees are waived.
