The park is located 2 miles east of Stonewall, 14 miles west of Johnson City on US Highway 290 toward Fredericksburg. Adjacent to both Ranch Road 1 and US Highway 290; enter on Park Road 52.

The nature trail, grounds, and day-use picnic areas are open until dark.
There is no gate.
Park buildings are open
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm is open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. year-round, except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Beginning on June 2, 2012, the Swimming Pool will open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
