Meridian State Park

June 29, 2013- The boat ramp on Lake Meridian is currently closed due to low lake levels.

The footbridge on Bee Creek, part of the Bosque Hiking Trail, has been removed due to damage. The trail is impassible except by crossing the creek itself.

Nature

This park is very wooded, predominantly with Ashe juniper and oak, and has abundant plants and wildflowers. A variety of wildlife and birds are present, including the endangered golden-cheeked warbler in the spring. The lake is populated with bream, crappie, catfish and largemouth bass.
