It is a new year starting on
the first day of the week, a time for new goals and habits. A time for paying attention to your health,
reducing stress, and enjoying the outdoors.
Join Park Ranger Marianne Van Houtte , as she will guide on the trails
and explain the health benefits of walking.
Fresh air and beautiful surroundings contribute to emotional health too,
and play a part in reducing stress on the body. As a Boston Marathon finisher,
Marianne can provide you information on running or jogging, as the trials are
conducive for that as well. Nothing fancy is required; just a comfortable pair
of shoes and a water bottle. There is no
charge for the guided hike; however, park entrance fees do apply. Meet at park headquarters.
