The Park will be closed to the public on the following dates in order to conduct wildlife management activities. Only drawn permitted hunters will be allowed in the park during these dates.

Monday, December 3, at 8 a.m., until 8 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012.
Monday, December 10, at 8 a.m., until 8 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012.
Monday, January 7, at 8 a.m., until 8 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2012.

Directions:

The park may be reached by traveling 9 miles east of Johnson City on FM 2766 or by traveling west of Austin for 32 miles on U.S. Highway 290, and then north on FM 3232 for 6 miles.
