hike focused on the native plant and animal species that inhabit the park. Hike
is approximately an hour long and distance will vary depending on
participation. Surface will be trails and some uneven surfaces. Participants
will want to wear sturdy shoes, bring a hiking stick and drinking water. &nbsp;Meet at&nbsp;<span class="Apple-style-span">Lost Pines Nature
Trail/Amphitheater.</span></p>

<p>This free workshop is open to anyone 18 or older interested in becoming a Certified TPWD Volunteer to teach the basics of fishing in their communities. The program provides the curriculum, equipment, materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce youth and their families to fishing. Ideal for teachers, youth group leaders, park and camp staff. &nbsp;Participants should wear comfortable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities, and bring a water bottle. &nbsp;Lunch will not be provided. Held at Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Johnson Branch Unit in the Maintenance Bldg.&nbsp; Pre-registration required.&nbsp; See contact information below. Class limited to 30 participants.</p>
