race. Demonstrations and displays of prehistoric technologies will be available

This two day guided hike takes the participants into backcountry to view Red Linear Style and Lower Pecos Style rockart. Limited to minimum of four and maximum of twelve participants and must be in excellent health, have knowledge and skills in backcountry camping. Participants must provide their own hike/camp gear and food/water, limited weight of gear is 80lbs per person. Park will only supply firewood (warming fire only), shuttling of participants&rsquo; gear, earth friendly-latrine and experienced guides. Personal gear will be shuttled to and from camp area by Park Staff and picked up by Park Staff the following day. The second day participants are to be back at Headquarters Building by 4:30pm. Ages 15-17 must be accompanied by adult/guardian.&nbsp; No children under the age of 15 and no pets. Registration opens for this event on January 27, 2012. $50 per person.&nbsp;</p>]]></content:encoded>

View a combination of rock art sites, original 1882 railroad sites and camp area of the Seminole Negro Indian Scouts. This is a two mile hike and approximate time is four hours. Due to the rough terrain this is rated as a strenuous hike. No pets. Participants under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by parent/guardian. Not suitable for young children.
