Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center – Activities Update
April 2004

I. Executive Summary: Staff will give a progress report on the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center since it opened in 1996. The demographics and visitation patterns of visitors will be discussed as well as the sites income statistics and economic impact on the Athens Community. Other site activities, including fish production and the Budweiser ShareLunker Program will be discussed. Future plans for the site, including the proposed Education Center and Game Warden Museum will be reviewed.
