Whether your feelings are best described as “fear” or “revere,” co-existing with snakes is just part of living in central Texas. Come join us for a question and answer session with Dallas-Fort Worth Herpetological Society Education Director Mark Pyle. Take advantage of an opportunity to “meet” some live snakes in a safe environment. Meet at the playground between the boat ramp and the shelter area.
The program is free for any participant who has a valid entrance permit for the day. Entrance permits are available from Park Headquarters for $5.00 per person for everyone 13 or older. Children 12 or under are free. Entrance fees are also covered by a valid Texas State Parks Pass.
Families with children are encouraged to attend.
