Wildlife Viewing

Wildlife Viewing Permitted

Viewing wildlife is an enjoyable activity that is available in many of the Wildlife Management Areas of Texas.

Many roads, trails and parking lots are available for visitors use. An information kiosk with a map of the Area is located at the entrance. Neotropical migrants, wood ducks, mallards, snowy egrets, barred owls, white-tailed deer and beavers are the main wildlife species. The condition of the habitat, plenty of water and food, has a direct affect on the quantity of migratory birds and so the quality of wildlife viewing.
