Hiking

Hiking Permitted

Hiking is an enjoyable activity that is available in many of the Wildlife Management Areas of Texas. Since potable water is not available on many of the Wildlife Management Areas, it is a good idea to bring plenty of drinking water.

There aren't any designated hiking paths, although an old road this is still used by oilfield traffic exists on the WMA. The general rule is "Hiking on or off old roads is permitted, however, care should be taken not cross onto neighboring properties".
