Wetland Complex Management

In settings where multiple wetland units exist, different water regimes and management actions can be employed to provide a mosaic of wetland habitat types that can benefit multiple species of wetland birds. A set of water level and management treatments can be applied to each wetland unit in a staggered rotation on an annual schedule. The following diagrams and schedules provide general examples for managing wetland complexes for multiple species of birds in agricultural settings.
