Sea Center Texas solicita la participación del público en la selección de los nombres de dos populares miembros de la fauna marina que habita sus acuarios.

LAKE JACKSON, Texas — Sea Center Texas es un  acuario marino y centro para la conservación de la naturaleza que incluye un criadero de juveniles de peces marinos.  Este criadero de alta tecnología es posiblemente uno de los más grandes del mundo, y produce juveniles  de corvina roja y corvina pinta que se utilizan en un programa muy exitoso de  repoblación  en las costas de Texas.  Mantenido por el Departamento de Parques y Vida Silvestre o Texas Parks and Wildlife, el centro solicita la ayuda del público en la selección de los nombres de dos ejemplares muy populares de su fauna marina: un mero australiano y una anguila  verde.

ATHENS, Texas—Choke Canyon Reservoir continued its big bass bonanza March 20 with another ShareLunker, a 13.12-pounder caught by Joseph B. Thoman, Jr., of Farmerville, Louisiana.
