William J. Hiles – Obituary and Assessment Call


William Joseph Hiles William "Bill" Joseph Hiles, 78, of Baytown passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. He was born on July 24, 1935, in Portland, Maine, to William and Margaret Walker Hiles.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enlisted 3 separate times and retired from active duty on February 11, 1971. In 1977 he married Hillary Jean Posinski in Humble, TX. Bill was a Texas Game Warden for over 25 years in Harris County. He was also the current Vice-President of the Landing of Cedar Bayou Homeowner's Association.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Hillary Jean Hiles, children, Kimberly Hiles of Atascocita, Tommy Hiles and wife Sandy of Aberdeen, Maryland, Darrin Hiles of Baytown, Scott Hiles of Austin, Billy Hiles and wife Kim of Round Rock; son-in-law, Kevin Sechexnayder of Prairieville LA, Mandy and Charlie Wright; nephew Timothy Galan and wife Kim Kingwood; grandchildren, Bradley Taylor, Mandy Crustner, Darrin Hiles, Jr., Nate Hiles, Brandon, B.J., Joseph and wife Pamela, Madelyn Grace, Chloe, Dillon, Joey, and Miranda; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Hiles, William Hiles, Payton, and Kyle; and special friends, Nancy Neal, Susan Webb, Stan Helms, Captain Herzog, and Leo Orona. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Karol Hiles, and his children, Perry Hiles, Daphne Sechexnayder, Paulette Taylor and Bobby Taylor. A celebration of Bill's life was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home. Funeral Services were Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Baytown.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Mutual Association (TPW Mutual Association) regrets to inform you of the death of one of our members, William J. Hiles.

William Hiles became a member of the TPW Mutual Association on July 19, 2014. He retained his membership up until his death on April 18, 2014. Additional information on Bill is on page 2 of this assessment letter. A check in the amount of $5,000 was delivered to Jean Hiles.

An assessment in the amount of $20.00 will be necessary to bring the policy fund back into balance to have payments on hand for other members in case of death. Please make this payment by the due date listed above.
