The entries were the second and third overall of the 2024 Toyota ShareLunker collection season following J.B. Thomas Reservoir’s first ever Legacy Class lunker last Wednesday.
ATHENS – J.B. Thomas Reservoir claimed on Wednesday the first Legacy Class ShareLunker largemouth bass of the 2024 Toyota ShareLunker collection season and the waterbody’s first Legacy Class entry.
ATHENS – The 2023 Toyota ShareLunker season was a memorable one, thanks to the 346 anglers from across the nation who entered 497 lunker largemouth bass into the program throughout the year from 89 Texas public waterbodies.
AUSTIN – The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), Yeti and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently partnered to enhance fish habitat at Granger Lake. Yeti accepted more than 160 donated Christmas trees at its flagship store in Austin and TPWD Inland Fisheries biologists and technicians transported the trees to the lake, where they were installed as reefs to provide fish habitat.
