Approved Training Courses for Wildlife Rehabilitation Permit Renewals
In addition to training courses offered by the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition or the National Wildlife Rehabilitator's Association, the virtual training courses listed below are approved by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, in consultation with the Wildlife Rehabilitators’ Council, to meet the continuing education requirements established by Texas Administrative Code §69.48(b)(1) for renewal of a wildlife rehabilitation permit. This list of courses may change periodically as new courses are added and discontinued courses are removed. Please contact wpoffice@tpwd.texas.gov if you have questions or to suggest additional courses for consideration. TPWD does not endorse or recommend any provider organization or particular course over another.
