Boat launching facilities are provided at State Park units and Corps of Engineers parks located around the lake. Facilities at Martin Dies, Jr. State Park include restrooms with hot showers, screened shelters, campsites with water only or water/electricity, lighted fishing piers, fish cleaning stations, and hiking, biking and nature/interpretive trails. State Park, Hen House Unit

• Located 11 miles west of Jasper off US 190. Turn south on Park Road 48 (1.75 miles east of 190 girded bridge).
• One-lane ramp accommodates all boat types

Sandy Creek Park

• Located 10.3 miles west of Jasper off US 190. Turn south on County Road 156 (2.5 miles east of girded bridge) and travel 1.4 miles to hard-topped road. Turn west and go 0.6 miles to park.
• Three single-lane ramps accommodate all boat types
• Day use fee $3 or $30 annual pass
• Open all year

Campers Cove Park

• Located off FM 92, 2 miles south of US 190/FM 92 junction
• Two single-lane ramps accommodate all boat types
